So now Obama and Harry Reid are threatening if a deal isn't done by August 2nd, Social Security checks may not go out on August 3rd. I say cease negotiations and see what happens. Call his bluff. Money for Social Security is still coming in, and in amounts greater than we pay out. So, if they are not paying Social Security, it is because Obama has taken that money and decided something else takes priority. Let him explain that to the elderly.
